Dear clients and friends,
With COVID-19 currently at top of mind, we would like to share some changes in our day to day standard operating procedures as they relate to you and your pets.
First, we do not plan to close our hospital at this time and will continue offering 24/7 emergency care for our patients. We will also continue to be available for urgent care and other appointments during our regular office hours. In accordance with Governor Scott's order, veterinary hospitals are listed as essential for the protection of animal and public health and we are permitted to continue operations. To help protect our staff, we are not allowing owners into our lobby at this time. We are asking you to please call us when you arrive for your appointment or to pick up medications and we will come to your car to help you.
We have asked our staff to stay home if they are sick or have a fever. We ask the same of our clients. If you feel ill and your pet needs care, please ask a friend or family member to bring him or her into the hospital. If this is not possible, we are offering drop off appointments in which we will retrieve your pet from the parking lot, or telemedicine appointments. Call to request these appointments.
If you need prescription refills or food refills, we can take payment over the phone and deliver the product to your car if you call in advance to request a refill and then from the parking lot to let us know you are outside.
Please call with questions and concerns. We are flexible and our plan is to be here for you and your pet if you need us.
